ABOUT THE ART
The work featured explores celestial bodies throughout our solar system and beyond. Through the passion and intersection of science and spirituality. Birthed the same year the Hubble Telescope was launched into space and growing up only a few miles from The Kennedy Space Center there has been a fascination with what lays beyond this planet.
Finding Albert Einstein's mediation practice "gedankenexperiment" where he discovered his Special Theory of Relativity by riding a beam of light through space. This reshaped how I saw and fell in love with my practice.
In my own meditations I find myself riding a variety of lightwaves. As humans only can see 0.0035% of the electromagnetic spectrum and there are other astral projection ways to insert yourself into the cosmic conversation. Through this practice I find myself floating above new places and spaces in the ether. Exploring the colors and clouds before our science matches the outcome. With each discovery it adds to the incredible outcomes of the artwork you see before you.

about the process
Throughout my over a dozen years of studio practice I have developed a love for lumosity and how we refract, hold, and are light. This has become one of the most fascinating parts of the creative process for me. I have explored this practice with UV reactive paints that hold the light for hours. Watching how one singular piece of art can turn into multiple with just the flick of a switch is a superpower to behold.
This development of this opportunity to pant with this medium is fairly new in all consideration to the history of painting. The first discovery of phosphorescent paint was discovered in 1908 while painting as a practice has been around for more than 100,000 years. My goal within my time is to uncover this as we continue our exploration into space. I hope as more of our universe is discovered my meditations and inspirations will be shared with the world.
